Jamie KyleHailing from Lexington, Kentucky, Jaime Kyle learned at a very young age that music was her passion. At the age of sixteen, Jaime formed a band and started performing for live audiences.

In the early 90s Jaime was crowned the “ Goddess of Rock” around the time when she signed with Atco Atlantic Records with a major record deal. You may have heard “Bed Of Roses,” “Ragged Heart” and “Kick It Down” in rotation on Sirius Radio.

Jaime has three critically acclaimed CDs: “The Passionate Kind” (Atco Atlantic), “Back From Hollywood” (Now and Then) England, and “The Best Of My Heart” (Frontiers) Italy. She has performed and recorded with many of the great artists of our time including Leon Russell, Patty Griffin, Richard Marx, Amy Grant, Ozzy Osbourne and many others. Jaime has performed and appeared on the Sundance TV Channel and numerous other TV shows. Her songs “Untangled” co-written with Gary Burr, and “If You Knew My Heart” co-written with Kassie Depaiva (Blair) were featured on ABC’s “One Life To Live.”

Most notably, Jaime co-wrote Faith Hill’s first hit, “Wild One” which made recording history for a debut artist, with four weeks at #1 on the Country Billboard Charts. Recently, Lauren Alaina sang “Wild One” on American Idol and released this hit song on her new EP “American Idol Highlights Season 10 Lauren Alaina.” Jaime’s song “Stranded” was a mega hit for the rock group Heart. Her songs have been recorded by many other artists and have been featured on CDs with combined sales of over 19 million worldwide!

2011 marked the release of a powerful new video featuring Jon Pousette-Dart and Jaime Kyle performing a song they co-wrote with Jon’s wife Dawn Young. This video is garnering well deserved attention and awards from film festivals all over including an honorable mention for a music video at the “LA Film Festival,” first place award for best short film at the “Lifetree Film Awards” and the highly acclaimed “Spirit Award” at the “Moondance Film Festival.” This video has been reviewed as one of the most compelling songs ever written about the effects of Alzheimer’s disease.
